Mandate Executive Search is pleased to present the result for its first Business Optimism Survey. We receive 272 responses from executives and professionals from various functions. From senior managers all the way to C level.
We sent the questionnaires from mid-May and closed the data collection by May 31st. We sent the link via email and whatsapp messages to our existing contacts. We also posted in popular social media like Linkedin.
We targeted those who are already at leadership positions and at least with 5 years direct experiences in their respective functions.
We are pleased that the link has been shared around but as a result it has also impacted the demographics of the respondents.
Changes are happening fast in these unprecedented times. Some of our respondents may have changed their working arrangements the moment their input being collated.
As expected, the majority of the respondents are based in Jakarta. Looking at their companies this would include surrounding regencies like Bogor, Depok, Tangerang and Bekasi.
We acknowledge there are differences in understanding the questions. For instances in question no 8 we feel that percentage of ‘hiring decision makers’ should be a higher. Yet for some respondents they are probably sharing this decision maker authority with some other peers or executives at higher level.
For questions number 10 and 11 we have decided to allow respondents to name actual level and positions. The objective is to give the readers the insight to variety of the positions.
Every crisis creates opportunities. The objective of question number 13 is to highlight where they are.
