We are pleased to present the result of #MandateBusinessOptimismSurveyQ32020.  The survey was conducted in July 2020 using  combination of direct mailing, direct call to respondents and share of the survey links in social media.  We have seen the increment in number of participants from 272 in Q2 survey and 305 in Q3 survey.  Many are senior executives and professionals with hiring authority.  We hope this report in its simple form can give the respondents and the readers quick insight to the mind of business leaders.  Particularly with regard to business optimism on the big challenges we are facing today.

Below are some of the key highlights:

1. Among the top 5 respondents are Banking (32,5%), FMCG (7,6%), Digital (4,6%) and Insurance industry (4%)
2. The top 3 respondents by position are Director, Vice President and Senior Vice Presidents respectively
3. The top 3 respondents by function are Sales & Marketing, Advisory & Consulting and General Management respectively
4. Despite the looming downsizing trend, it is relieving to hear that 82,6% of the respondents are keeping their jobs
5. 70,1% of respondents are still open to change jobs.  Good news for recruiters!
6. 34,6% are still recruiting in the next 3 months.  Good news for job seekers!
