Question. Are You Working at Your Full Capabilities? 6 Ways to Rising Above

Do you sometimes feel a constant struggle to give 100% in everything you do? And how can you stay motivated and continue to work at your full capabilities?

Check these simple tips below:

    • Make every moment count.

If you’re spending your time doing something, you might as well be learning as much as you can. Stay connected to the task at hand. Challenge yourself. Find more effective ways to do mundane tasks. What is this teaching you? Efficiency? How to be more organized? Resilience? How to focus even when the job isn’t that interesting? Even the smallest, most boring tasks can teach you something that you can apply to problems later on.

    • Ponder about mediocre vs. excellence.

Reflect on the difference between performing a mediocre job as opposed to an outstanding job. Which way of working makes you feel more confident about your performance? Strive for excellence in everything you do. Be dependable, not dispensable. Find a method that allows you to complete your task with accuracy and speed. People do notice and may give you more interesting responsibilities when they see that they can trust and rely on your good qualities.

    • Be organized.

Being organized means that you establish efficient workflow and structure. Therefore, it makes you more productive at work while accomplishing solid results. Create a daily to-do list, a weekly to-do list and a monthly to-do list. Figure out how much time you need for each task and build in extra time if need be.

    • Set smaller objectives toward accomplishing larger goals.

By setting small, manageable objectives, you’ll be on a positive path toward your larger goals and you’ll be able to see your progress along the way.

    • Incorporate a deadline and a reward.

This combination is strong & effective in making sure you finish your tasks properly and successfully. A deadline will help you focus and a reward is something to look forward to once you’ve reached a certain point in the task.

    • Celebrate your successes.

When you acknowledge your efforts, you’ll build momentum and be inspired to achieve more. The more you accomplish, the more you will want to accomplish. Success is motivating.
